The idea was born from two school-friends. Silio and Carolina, after different
experiences, both lovers of art and beauty, have decided to open this space to
create the expression of a new furniture formula, inspired by styles of
different periods and countries.
Fondo Oro was born just in the heart of "diladdarno fiorentino" near the famous
Piazza S. Spirito, surrounded by old handicraftsmen shops and young artists
laboratories. The space has been renovated by the two owners themselves, wich
have enhanced everything hidden by the centuries. The only nowadays sign is the
resin-made floor. A distinguishing element is represented by a small fez-blue
"fumoire" where outdoor furniture are proposed.
Who decide to enter into our space can experience harmonies fusion and a
fantastic world where art and stuctures find a new dimension...
